"The artistry in Tlalli Artisan Studio's pieces is breathtaking. Each instrument tells a story and connects you to something ancient and profound."

The dialogue with clay
The most exciting part of my process is when the clay first starts to take shape and becomes something more than just material. As I form each piece by hand, especially the instruments, there’s a moment where it begins to “speak” the shape suggests its own sound, its own character. I don’t fully control it, I respond to it. That back-and-forth between intention and material is where the work really comes alive. I want people to see that part, the quiet process of building, refining, and listening to what the clay wants to become.
